Hey Reid, this is a really profound post for me to figure out what's been going on in your head the past .. what... 10 years that I've known you (initially only online but still..).

I'm glad though that you have become ..sort of.. 'enlightened', self-awareness wise.

However, I wouldn't be so negative about it. What you did makes you who you are today and I've listened to you talk quite a bit over the past 10 years passionately about topics that had nothing to do with arts or humanities. So, you are the sum of all of these parts and do not resist them.

i just returned from a weekend in banff with 7 beautiful women. we were there for yoga and meditation. one, wise but discomfited, lamented feeling out of league. i remarked how out of league i felt, bearing the only penis in the room.

many stories were told, some fine tales, about chocolate and (glorious) smurfs and even some about tail, as my dad used to put it so inelegantly

but none approach the elegance of this tale of the jazz wolf

awe-sum

may your stories continue their telling

Yeah, 3 condos a year seems a bit much.

It's interesting that white people are still trying to tell Africans what to do about their own issues. It doesn't allow for the idea that these are intelligent people who can ask for the help they feel they need whenever they want to.

Statistics are weird, (especially sex related ones from christians) in that they don't take into consideration when the "epidemic" hit Uganda and Cameroon. I think that there must have been some lag between north america and africa.

I think it's a shame that anyone still cares what the Poope has to say about anything and that his stupid opinions have so much force. The whole 'marital fidelity' thing is pretty bullshit too, it seems that there is a culture of infidelity in these countries, that a huge number of people contract from their spouses and that if hubby wore a condo when he fucks around, wifey wouldn't contract.

I made it myself, slightly inspired by the minimalism and bookishness of mcsweeneys.net but aiming for non-painful navigation. It's really just a hack of the default theme.

Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few weeks i will be launching my own site, i'm not great with designs but i really like the style of your site so it would be cool if i could find (or pay for) something with a similar look. :) Thanks!
