Hail Communarchy!
Here is an idea which is likely to be poorly received: Communism is a form of Anarchy.
Anarchy runs approximately like so: the current order is destroyed completely, and from the rubble, by what seems to be an evolutionary process, a new, more natural order arises. Compare this to Communism: the current order (rule by the Bourgeoisie) is overthrown and destroyed completely, and the workers seize the means of production and a new, more natural order is born from the ashes of Capitalism.
This is not rocket science. Since Anarchy leaves everything blank except that the existing order is destroyed and a new one replaces it, and since Communism has more detail on why it’s destroyed and some idea of how it might be rebuilt, it follows that Communism is a subset of Anarchy. See? Not rocket science at all. It’s set theory.
Considering that mounting masses of empirical information seem to suggest that they are both full of it, the remaining question of interest is why Anarchists and Communists cannot get along better.
